MORE ABOUT KAREN MORGAN
Dr Karen Morgan is a health and organisational psychologist. She graduated from UCD with a Masters in Social and Organisation Psychology in 1997 and subsequently worked as a change management consultant specialising in redesign of organisational processes within large public sector organisations. In 2003 Dr Morgan joined the HARP programme in the Department of Psychology and was awarded a PhD in Health Psychology in 2008. Her research draws on organisational and health psychology theories and frameworks and she is especially interested in quality of care, ageing and population health. Dr Morgan is actively involved in a number of professional societies and is the current President of the European Health Psychology Society (EHPS: 2016-2018).Dr Morgan is currently on secondment to Perdana University Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland School of Medicine, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where she is the Academic Lead in Psychology and Behavioural Science.
